SOS Talk: Carl-Åke Carlsson, CEO & President of Xellia Pharmaceuticals, and Marianne Norup-Nielsen, Senior Director Global IT, interviewed on our collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages

As written by SOS Children’s Villages: “One of the main forces behind SOS Children’s Villages’ work for children in need are our partners dreams to make a difference! – and their engagement and will to make a change in society”.

This past October, SOS Children’s Villages Denmark brought together a panel of SOS-partners in Denmark, to learn more about company engagement; where representatives from Xellia Pharmaceuticals, who is a strategic partner to SOS Children’s Villages, and MY FOUNDATION, who works with strategic philanthropy and fundraising to benefit children in need, shared their backgrounds and vision for partnership with SOS Children’s Villages.

In SOS Talk, we hear about the impact both organizations, wish for to make through their engagement with SOS Children’s Villages. Introduction to the film:

Why does a Danish medical company with headquarters located in Amager, and with more than 1800 employee worldwide, wish to help families in need and young women without a place to give birth in a faraway provincial town in Kenya, 6.500 km away, in a country where they do not have any commercial interests?

And why has the hit music producer and earlier X-Factor judge Remee S. Jackman teamed up with the serial entrepreneur and business angel Christina Rind Helsbro to establish a Foundation, for fundraising for children in need?
