Our partnership with SOS Children’s Villages from 2015 to 2023
Xellia Pharmaceuticals’ collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages Denmark began in 2015, with the successful three-year partnership 2015-2017 in support of the SOS Medical Center in Eldoret, Kenya.
From 2018-2020, Xellia Pharmaceuticals continued to provide financial support in Eldoret, Kenya. The renewed three-year partnership was dedicated to fund the operations of the Family Strengthening Program, whose focus lies on healthcare and education, through the SOS Social Center in Eldoret. In January 2021, Xellia Pharmaceuticals announced the last round of the partnership, from 2021-2023, with SOS Children’s Villages Denmark, to support the SOS Children’s Villages Family Strengthening Program in Eldoret, Kenya.
In addition to the corporate funding of the SOS Family Strengthening Program in Eldoret, Kenya, a number of employee-driven initiatives raised money for projects coordinated by SOS Children’s Villages in Eldoret.
